Our BID

Jamaica Center is a shopping enthusiast’s delight. With over 300 stores reflecting a kaleidoscope of cultures, the main commercial corridor – Jamaica Avenue – remains one of New York City’s most vibrant shopping destinations. Set in the heart of Queens, Jamaica Center boasts 3 performing arts centers, dozens of landmarked historic gems, a park, 2 colleges, a major transportation hub, and hundreds of independent businesses and blue chip department stores, all with the convenience of an anchor retail hub.

This shopping destination is managed, beautified, and promoted by the Jamaica Center Business Improvement District (BID). As the largest BID in Queens, the Jamaica Center BID seeks to make the Jamaica Center business district a thriving business hub and an enjoyable destination to shop, work, live, and visit.

For thirty years, the Jamaica Center BID has been proud to serve this dynamic and vibrant community.
