As the largest BID in Queens, the Jamaica Center BID seeks to make the Jamaica Center business district a thriving business hub and an enjoyable destination to shop, work, live and visit. Founded in 1979, our BID's core programming includes the following strategic initiatives:
Ensure the district is attractive, welcoming, safe, clean and graffiti-free.
Conduct creative district marketing campaigns, host special events, encourage visitation and shopper loyalty
Align the districts retail mix with shopper preferences and connect district businesses with resources needed to succeed
Champion for public improvements, capital investments and economic development initiatives in Downtown Jamaica

The Jamaica Center BID is a public=private partnership governed by a Board of Directors and derives its revenues from an annual assessment on all real property located within the boundaries of the BID.
